LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – It’s often said that a dog is man’s best friend but, this dog is more than that. Beyco is a veteran and has served overseas and saved countless lives. She was recently adopted 
by a Louisville man who is giving her a new home.
Decorated in medals and badges, 10-year-old Beyco isn’t your ordinary dog.
“Beyco is a former marine explosive detection dog,” said Joe Sturm.
To Joe Sturm she’s a hero.
