FORT JACKSON (WACH) — A hero dog from the Midlands is Hollywood bound.
After months of voting, retired military dog Gabe won the military category in the 2012 American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards.
Gabe now moves on to the finals and will compete against seven other dogs for overall bragging rights.
